I Removed the Black and White Photo of a Man Background Image

Yeah, been doing it often. Most of my free time now, was go and grab my laptop to see which photo I should remove background image. This work is seems basic, but the truth is, it is not that easy at it looks.

What I learn was, it depends on the images resolution. If you have low resolution, then when you zoom in so close, the image pixels are so difficult to adjust.

One challenging part for a Black and White photo, was if an angle of the subject is same color as a background. If its close enough, then you need to manually identify the subject to be separated with its background.

So far, I only use eraser and background eraser when doing this. If you notice, the man is facing the sun (I guess) so, we have a light in front of him. So, you cannot use Background Eraser Tool for the front. But at the back of the man, no worry of using it.

Usually, I use the Background Eraser Tool to remove the background. But this time, it doesn't do the job.

Others says that, better to use the Pen Tool, but the problem is, I don't know how to use it properly yet.

Okay! So this is the result.

If you noticed, I also remove the grass in the subjects pants.

I Removed The Pulsefire Caitlyn's Splash Art Background Image

I'm a fan of League of Legends MOBA game. So, this image is the next one that I removed the background. This is the official Splash Art of Pulsefire Caitlyn. One of my favorite champion in League of Legends. By the way, LoL Wild Rift will be available soon. I don't know if you guys also excited about it.

Anyway, I would like to share some of the things while doing this task.

Removing background image is now one of my major hobbies. While doing it, it really feels like I want to do more image, again and again.

As I really wanted to see the picture clean. Well, removing the background image is not that easy still. It really need patients.

A bit difficult when doing this 1215 x 717 image dimension, its a bit easy if just use by the eraser tool. As I tried to zoom in more, pixels is really hard to control with this resolution.

I did try to speed up to see if I can improve time, to lesser it so I can make more. But the results are actually not that good. If you noticed below; there are some spots actually decreases its quality.

I just noticed it while writing this blog, for reviewing my work.

How To Use Background Burner by Bonanza

1. Visit this url: https://burner.bonanza.com/
2. Upload your photo that you wish to removed the background by Drag and Drop Image Here or click Choose a photo button. (you can only upload one at a time.)

Mentioned above at step 4, here are the difference between Basicand Pixel tools.
The Basic Tools - Mark Background (E) and Mark Foreground (R)
The Pixel Tools - Erase Background (D), Restore Foreground (F), Polygon Mask Eraser (C) and Polygon Mask Restore (V).

Both has Undo (ctrl+Z), Zoom Out (-) and Zoom In (+). Also change background to white/transparent (T).


While doing this, I really cannot do that much. It is limited to only good if you use it to just simply deleting background image. I've been having a difficult time doing what exactly I want about the image. As I tried it, I don't see that it is possible to manage the hair as well.

So I give this a 3 Star, easy to use but the tool is limited working with removing background. It cannot do the most specific detailed one.

They have a pro version which has a plan monthly/yearly.

I Removed The Cute Dog's Background Image

So, just like in my recent post. I will learn to master removing background of images. The first try was not that good, and I admitted it. I have background in Photoshop editing before back in college. I even get a certificate passing their assessment, and I am the top #.1 among of us who attended.

Okay! now this time, I think I got it now. But still, I know that there are other techniques who is more sharp and faster to get this done.

I approximately, finish this one and half hours. I just pay attention to even a single tiny detail. One of the main focus here was the Hair actually. I even tried it when women photos and it will needed work and takes time.

But like I said, for sure, there will be an other way to do this right away. I just need to dig it. Photoshop is really amazing. I really feel bad that I didn't use my talent to continue the things that I am good at.

One of my natural talent was, able to learn and understand what are in front of my two eyes.

What I mean is, anything that is, when it comes to job/work, I was able to execute them just like what my superior instructed me to.

As I reviewed my work, I noticed that there are still spots that is not good.

I will improve it next time.

Still, I was happy what is the final outcome of this very simply job.

I think I get use to it.

I get a bit difficulty in this cuz the background is blur and the camera really focused on the puppy. And like I said, the hair do really takes time to be done. One I get the solution on how to do it semi-perfect, I can say, a job well done.

I will keep on learning and study the right way.
